The greatest thing about working with Pam is that she makes my room look like me – only better.

She listens to what I want, prays, and then makes recommendations, buys accessories, takes items to be framed, etc.  My husband encourages me to use her talent and skills because he feels that we save money and complete our decorating projects sooner.

After moving fourteen times, I was thrilled finally to be in my “forever house”. But I simply couldn’t make fourteen years of gifts, pictures, pottery, and family treasures come together – especially with the new baby grand my husband gave me. I talked to several decorators, but I needed someone who didn’t want to make me and my home “over”. I wanted to work with someone who respected my treasures and my tastes. Dutifully, I studied decorating books, shopped furniture stores, and clipped my favorite living room photos from magazines – thinking I could decorate this house myself. But I was stumped; I just couldn’t make it come together.

And then one of my best friends introduced me to Pam Proctor. After several emails and phone conversations, Pam drove from Memphis to North Carolina to work with me. She respectfully and intuitively sensed my tastes and my vision – and yet was happy to work within my decorating budget. Actually, she saved me a great deal of money because I had envisioned and expected to buy all new furniture – but Pam just rolled up her sleeves and artfully and skillfully re-arranged things. I am still in awe of my own “home makeover” and have recommended her to everyone I know.

Seven years ago when I was looking for a decorator a friend recommended Pam and she’s been an absolute joy to work with. She has designed every room in my home to fit my personality and tastes, from choosing paint and wallpaper to furniture and accessories. She has a special touch when it comes to decorating. I couldn’t have done my recent kitchen renovation without her expertise. I was indecisive about cabinet color, countertops and tile, but I trusted her judgment and now I have a beautiful new kitchen. I would highly recommend Pam to anyone looking for professional decorating advice. She has always listened to my needs and stayed within my budget.

When we asked Pam to help us with a color choice for our sunroom, she was enthused to help. We were hesitant at first about the color Pam had picked out, but when we had finished painting the sun room it was evident from the moment we were finished that the blue she had picked was exactly the right color. It had undertones that seemed to give our room a warm feeling yet it was really fun and added to the already pleasant feel of the room.

We have had several social occasions at our home and everyone who comes into the room comments on how beautiful it is. It has actually become everyone’s favorite room in our house.
